(5 March 2020) Met Lt Governor Shri G C Murmu at Jammu and apprised him about several measures initiated by the Central Waqf Council for protection and retrieval of the Waqf Properties. I also submitted
a memorandum which included suggested measures for making the education sector
more effective by way of making the public libraries and those in educational
institutes better equipped with latest publications and books in various Modern
Indian Languages. I also suggested rationalisation of the teaching faculty in
educational institutions and the need for organizing Multi-Lingual Symposiums
and cultural programs across the UT, restructuring of J&K Academy of Art,
Culture and Languages etc. at the earliest.
