Dec 2019/ Met Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri G Kisan Reddy at
New Delhi and discussed the law and order situation of J&K with the
Minister and presented a Memorandum to him regarding the union territory of
J&K. I presented a proposal to Shri Reddy regarding the initiation of
special job packages for the youth of J&K so that the miseries of the
educated youth are taken care of and also requested the Minister to take up
special tourism revival programmes for the UT as the industry has got a very
severe set-back due to the situation in valley of Kashmir. Minister Shri G.
Kisan Reddy appreciated my concern about the welfare of the people of J&K.
He assured me that Union Government will take all necessary steps to address to
the problems of the UT and start bigger economic activity in J&K soon.
