MY POETRY COLLECTION RELEASED BY HONOURABLE LG J&K AT RAJBHAVAN SRINAGAR

 25 October 2020/HONOURABLE Lieutenant Governor of J&K Shri Manoj Sinha Ji today released my new book of Poetry in Kashmiri titled “Ahsasan Hinde Sheeshe Khane” (अहसासन हिन्दि शीशा-खानअ) in presence of celebrated scholars and writers. It was surprising for me to find that His Excellency had written a brief but very encouraging paper on my literary contribution which was presented on the occasion. Shri Sinha Ji's appreciation means big to me. This is my 10th book of literature published so far. I have dedicated this book to the iconic spiritual saint-poetess Lala-Ded. This book is fore-worded by famous literary critic and iconic literary historian of Kashmir, Sh. Avatar Krishen Rehbar who left us some weeks back. "REHBAR SAHIB THANKS FOR WRITING THESE PRECIOUS WORDS FOR ME".

Sh. Vibod Gupta, former MLC, Dr. Ghulam Nabi Haleem, Sh. Parvez Manoos, Sh. Ghulam Nabi Kumar, Sh. Mohammad Aqeel and Sh. Satish Vimal were present on the occasion.

Saluting Martyrs on Police Commemoration Day (21 Oct 2020)

 Paid tribute to the Martyrs of J&K Police today on Police Commemoration Day observed throughout J&K in memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives while performing their duties. J&K level function was held at Police Complex Zewan in Srinagar in which the Honourable LG of J&K Shri Manoj Sinha Ji along with DGP J&K Shri Dilbagh Singh Ji were present. It was a sentimental but proud moment for me to salute the martyrs and pay respects to them who laid their lives for the nation. “The men in uniform are always putting their lives to risk for the safety and security of the nation. They fight with valour the hidden enemies. I salute to every police man fighting for the country amid great risk to their lives.”

MEETING WITH LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR OF J&K

 (5 March 2020) Met Lt Governor Shri G C Murmu at Jammu and apprised him about several measures initiated by the Central Waqf Council for protection and retrieval of the Waqf Properties. I also submitted a memorandum which included suggested measures for making the education sector more effective by way of making the public libraries and those in educational institutes better equipped with latest publications and books in various Modern Indian Languages. I also suggested rationalisation of the teaching faculty in educational institutions and the need for organizing Multi-Lingual Symposiums and cultural programs across the UT, restructuring of J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages etc. at the earliest.

 9 January 2020/ SUBMITTED A MEMORANDUM TO HIS EXCELLENCY THE LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR OF J&K SHRI G C MURMU JI REGARDING THE FULFILLING OF VACANCIES IN DIFFERENT GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS AND REVIVAL OF THE AILING JAMMU & KASHMIR ACADEMY OF ART,CULTURE & LANGUAGES.

MEETING WITH J&K GOVERNOR

 MET J&K GOVERNOR SHRI SATYAPAL MALIK JI AT RAJBHAVAN Srinagar  on 11th Sept, 2018. Discussed the political situation in J&K with him. Also briefed him about the futuristic plans of the Union Ministry of Minority Affairs regarding J&K Waqf  issues.
