 19 November 2020/ Today Union Minister of Minority Affairs Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi visited Srinagar. He addressed many functions, events and meetings. He took stock of the DDC election preparedness in a couple of meetings with BJP leaders. A few of the clips of the day.....

MEETING WITH UNION MINISTER OF STATE FOR HOME AFFAIRS

20 Dec 2019/ Met Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri G Kisan Reddy at New Delhi and discussed the law and order situation of J&K with the Minister and presented a Memorandum to him regarding the union territory of J&K. I presented a proposal to Shri Reddy regarding the initiation of special job packages for the youth of J&K so that the miseries of the educated youth are taken care of and also requested the Minister to take up special tourism revival programmes for the UT as the industry has got a very severe set-back due to the situation in valley of Kashmir. Minister Shri G. Kisan Reddy appreciated my concern about the welfare of the people of J&K. He assured me that Union Government will take all necessary steps to address to the problems of the UT and start bigger economic activity in J&K soon.

MY LATEST KASHMIRI POETRY COLLECTION RELEASED

8, MARCH 2018 (INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY) 

My latest poetry collection in Kashmiri “Lonche gandith tchai” (Pallu mein bandhi chchaya) was released today on International Womens Day at New Delhi by Union Minister of Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi in presence of Secretary of the ministry Jaane Aalam, Secretary Central Waqf Board B M Jamaal and Chairman of Central Haj Committee Choudhay Mehboob Ali Kaisar. The collection contains my ghazals and nazams. It is my second Kashmiri poetry collection.

Meeting with Union Minister for Minority Affairs

I had a detailed meeting with Union Minister of Minority Affairs Jenab Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi Sahib at New Delhi. Raised the issue of special package for Srinagar HAJJ HOUSE repairs and expansion which got damaged severely by 2014 floods. The minister assured to look into the matter and allocate funds for the same as soon as possible.
