MEETING WITH SHRI G KISSAN REDDY
Met
Union Minister of State G Kishan Reddy at New Delhi. The meeting lasted for
half an hour in which I apprised the minister of the latest political
situation in J&K. The current security scenario was also discussed at
length. The minister assured me that new Government led by Sri Narendra
Modi will take very big steps for the welfare of J&K. MoS Home hailed
the steps taken by the Governor for the holistic development of the state. He
said, “Peace and development was the mission of Modi government and Sabka
Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas was the governing mantra for the
implementation of this mission”. I gave some suggestions for involving
the youth of the state in the development process in the state. The MoS
accepted the suggestions for consideration.
CHAIRED 'WAQF DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE' MEETING
CHAIRED WDC of MINISTRY OF MINORITY AFFAIRS AT NEW DELHI on 11th of November 2020. Reviewed the reports of 16 states regarding Waqf Asset Management and Inspections of Accounts of the State Waqf Boards.
VISIT TO NISHAT, SHALIMAR & HARWAN in Srinagar
On 19 October 2018, visited many residential areas in Nishat, Shalimar and Harwan
in Srinagar outskirts and met the local delegations and residents. Held a public interaction programme at Imambara Barch in Harwan and apprised
herself about the public welfare. Assured people that on my request
the Chief Engineer of R&B will soon initiate the process of macdamization
of the dilapidated roads in these areas. I was accompanied by party local representative Mr Ali Mohammad. I visited the area
door-to-door.

MET J&K GOVERNOR SHRI SATYAPAL MALIK JI AT RAJBHAVAN Srinagar on 11th Sept, 2018. Discussed the political situation in J&K with him. Also briefed him about the futuristic plans of the Union Ministry of Minority Affairs regarding J&K Waqf issues.

MY LATEST KASHMIRI POETRY COLLECTION RELEASED

My latest poetry
collection in Kashmiri “Lonche gandith tchai” (Pallu mein bandhi chchaya) was
released today on International Womens Day at New Delhi by Union Minister of
Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi in presence of Secretary of the ministry
Jaane Aalam, Secretary Central Waqf Board B M Jamaal and Chairman of Central
Haj Committee Choudhay Mehboob Ali Kaisar. The collection contains my ghazals
and nazams. It is my second Kashmiri poetry collection.

THE WAY FORWARD MOVEMENT FELICITATION
24 February 2018 It was great to
be invited and honoured in “THE WAY FORWARD MOVEMENT”, the initiative of Jammu
Chamber of Commerce & Industry today at Jammu Chamber House. I apprised the
Chamber team about the various initiatives being taken by the GOI Waqf Council to
help the suffering humanity. The Chamber President asked me to help the WAY
FORWARD MOVEMENT launched by the Jammu chamber to appeal to one and all to rise
above party politics and contribute towards bringing peace in the state of
Jammu & Kashmir. I thank the Present,Senior Vice President, General
Secretary, Secretary & other dignitaries of JCCI for the honour. It is a
noble initiative indeed.
78th Board Meeting of Central Waqf Council
16 February · During 78th
Board Meeting of Central Waqf Council held at New Delhi my resolution to extend
the working parameters of CWC to the state of J&K was unanimously passed
and the Honourable Union Minister of Minority Affairs announced that CWC will
take necessary steps to include J&K in Waqf related welfare initiatives on
the demand from the state. I am looking forward to see the positive results of
this initiative. I have already started a discussion with the concerned state
authorities regarding this very significant initiative. Thanks to Secretary CWC
Mr B M Jamal for his support.

मातृ भाषा में रचे जा रहे साहित्य पर संक्षिप्त चर्चा के साथ ही , उसकी बेहतरी के लिए
प्रतिबद्धता जाहिर की। शुरूआत सोनिया उपाध्याय की हिंदी कविताओं और क्षणिका से की।
बेहद सधे हुए अंदाज में सोनिया उपाध्याय ने अनैच्छिक शब्दों के व्यवहार में उतर
आने को बयां किया। वरिष्ठ डोगरी कथाकार कृष्णा प्रेम ने डोगरी में युग-युगांतर और
निर्मल विक्रम नें संतान कहानी पढी। दोनों ही कहानियां खूब सराही गईं। डा.
अंद्राबी ने कश्मीरी ने कश्मीरी और उर्दू में उम्दा नज्में पेश कीं । उपस्थित
साथियों ने जिन्हें मुक्त कंठ से सराहा। हाल ही में उन्हें साहित्य के लिए स्टेट
अवार्ड भी प्रदान किया गया है। वरिष्ठ साथी सुदेश राज एवं डा नीलम सरीन ने भी इस
अवसर पर अपनी शुभकामनाएँ संप्रेषित कीं।

Kick Start of the Construction Work
1 January 2018 : Kick-started the construction work (slab-laying work) on Nallah at
Rajpora Mangotrian in Jammu. I was ccompanied by BJP leader Shri Chander Mohan
Gupta and local representatives. It
was a moment of pleasure to start the work on New Year's Day. I thank BJP State
