SUBMITTED J&K VISION DOCUMENT TO THE HONOURABLE PRIME MINISTER


 12 March 2020

Had a meeting with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at New Delhi. Presented a comprehensive Vision Document regarding J&K to the Prime Minister. Discussing the road-map regarding development in many important economic sectors in J&K, explained the suggested comprehensive plans of action to pave way for creation of jobs, execution of revival projects for handicrafts, horticulture, tourism and industrial sectors etc in the UT. In my Vision Document, shared my vision regarding job creations in government and public and corporate sectors for the youth of the Union Territory and also gave suggestions for revolutionizing the Horticulture Sector in J&K with new schemes and programmes. A comprehensive study for revival of ailing Handicraft sector was also presented to the PM. I also presented a road-map to restructure J&K Waqf and requested for a probe in Waqf irregularities in the UT during the past many decades. I also emphasized the Prime Minister to issue instructions to the J&K administration to constitute a Hindu Shrines Management Board so that the long pending demand of Kashmiri Hindus is met. Prime Minister was kind enough to endorse the vision document and assured the taken on it soon.

MEETING WITH HONOURABLE PRIME MINISTER



 Met Honourabe Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji at New Delhi & appraised the Prime Minister about the present political situation in J&K and presented a Memorandum to His Excellency. I suggested many new initiatives for Jammu & Kashmir youth and women and requested the Prime Minister to announce special recruitment drives for the en-employed youth of J&K and also requested for special economic initiatives for infra-structural development in both the divisions of union territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The Prime Minister assured  that Government of India is devising special development projects and schemes for J&K which will be announced and implemented soon.  The PM lauded the people of J&K for their support to the local & central governments in maintaining peace in J&K after the decision of abrogation of Article 370.
