ZALAPORE VISIT





Darakhshan goes door-to-door at Zalapore                                                                                                                                          Socialistic Democratic Party President Dr Darakhshan Andrabi continued her public contact programme in Budgam district and today conducted a doo-to-door tour of village Zalapore and apprised herself about the public problems and the causes of public anger against the politicians. She also led a road rally in the locality. She later addressed a public gathering also in which she expressed her deep concern regarding the public sentiment against the present political representative and the government for ignoring the public aspirations. Dr Darakhshan said that it was really surprising and shocking to see a huge population deprived of medical facilities. “A huge population of Zalapore is without a health sub centre. This seems quite astonishing in twenty first century,” said Dr Andrabi. She said that political bias has resulted in rejection of the people’s demands for establishment of a government medical centre in the area. Dr Darakhshan Andrabi said that again when we have multiple schools in small villages, the old Middle School of Zalapore was not considered for being promoted to a High School again on the behest of the political interference. Dr Andrabi slammed the local administration for working as a toy in the hands of politicians and thus going ahead without a plan on equality basis. SDP president said that it was a welcome sign that the people of the area have understood the tricks of the sinister politics and have decided to go for a political change. Dr Darakhshan said that this change was inevitable now for the betterment of the population of this area. She appealed to the district administration to take up the long pending demands of the people who have been deliberately ignored and she assured the people that she would remain at the beck and call of the masses for the resolution of their problems. Dr Andrabi said, “This is the beginning of the end for exploiting politics in the area and this new resolution of the people will usher in a new era of unconditional development of all areas.”  SDP leader Dr Nissar Ahmad also addressed the gathering.

                                                                        "Khansahib villages reflect 1947 Kashmir"                                                                         SDP President addresses public meeting at village Hayatpora in Khansahib in Budgam today conducted door to door campaign.
“The villages of Khansahib area reflect 1947 rural Kashmir. The people in these areas crave for the basic amenities of life even today,” said Socialistic Democratic Party President Dr Darakhshan Andrabi while addressing a public gathering at village Hayatpora in Khansahib Assembly Constituency. Dr Darakhshan conducted a door-to-door campaign in the locality and apprised herself of the problems of the people.  In her address Dr Andrabi slammed the district administration and the local political representative for deliberately keeping the villages backward to pave way for the political exploitation of the masses. Dr Andrabi said that the propaganda of development of Khansahib is all baseless and it gets defeated at the ground level when one sees the condition of the roads, water shortage everywhere and very poor electricity network in the villages. She accused the local administration of playing in the hands of the local political representatives. While speaking on the occasion Dr Darakhshan Andrabi said that the people of the area crave for basic amenities while the whole of the Kashmir looks and thinks beyond these problems. She said that it was unfortunate to see the political goondaism in operation in the area to curb the freedom of expression and opinion of the people. She appealed to the people of the area to get ready for a political change so that the condition of the people improves and the freedom from the sinister politics is ascertained. Dr Andrabi said that she had now taken up the mission of redeeming people of the parochial politics and giving them a politics of honesty and public service. SDP leaders, Ghulam Mohiuddin Mir, and  Mohammad Amin also accompanied SDP President.
 




“J & K still waits the outcome of Round Table Conferences and the exercise of   interlocutors”:Darakhshan                                                                  SDP President addresses public meeting at Bilal Mohalla, Waterhail after dedicating the new electricity Transformer to people of the area.
“The people of the state are still in wait for the outcome of the series of Round Table Conferences and a long exercise of central interlocutors. The failure of the central government in reaching out to the people and creating trust among masses is not seen at all even after learning lessons from the public uprisings of the past,” said Socialistic Democratic Party President Dr Darakhshan Andrabi while addressing a public gathering at Bilal Mohalla in Waterhail Budgam after dedicating a new electric transformer to the public thus fulfilling the long pending demand of the residents. Dr Darakhshan conducted a door-to-door campaign in the locality and appraised herself of the problems of the people.  In her address Dr Andrabi slammed the local MLA for behaving as a monarch and threatening his political opponents with dire consequences. Dr Andrabi said that in a democratic system the anarchist attitude cannot survive for long and she was happy that people of the area have awakened to the situation and have decided to go for a change in the coming elections. She accused the local administration of the inequitable development in the area. While speaking on the occasion Dr Darakhshan Andrabi asked the Prime Minister to give an answer to the youth of J&K about what happened to his Special Recruitment Package for Jammu & Kashmir which he announced years earlier. Dr Andrabi said that she was convinced that New Delhi was repeating its mistakes and continuing with its approach of taking the people of the state on a ride as was admitted nine years ago by the then Prime minister Atal Biharti Bajpai.
