Fight against Corruption continued....





Dr Darakhshan Andrabi leading SDP rally against Corruption in Jammu on 17th of August 2011. She asked people from all walks to join the crusade against corruption. Terming the present uprising against corruption as the national awakening, Dr Darakhshan apealed all to support Anna Hazare in his war against loot & corruption. She was accompanied by senior SDP leaders and workers.

Meeting high level delegation of Thailand

High Profile Meetings at Hyderabad



Dr Darakhshan meets the visiting Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand His Excellency Korn Dabbaransi at Fortune Hotel in Hyderabad. She discussed the situation in J&K, the prospectus of the foreign private sector investment in the state and the job prospectus for J&K youth in Thailand.

Addressing International Bussiness Summit




Dr Darakhshan Andrabi attended Indo-Thai International Achiever's Summit 2011 at World Habitat Centre in New Delhi which was attended by the leading business houses of India and the high level delegations of India and Thailand. Dr Andrabi also addressed the Summit.



On July 6,2011 a deputation of SDP led by Dr Darakhshan Andrabi met the Governor, N N Vohra. The deputation stressed the need for urgent steps to eliminate corrution to enable economic and industrial development and increased employment opportunities for the people of the state.Dr Darakhshan discussed the need to focous on all required efforts for enabling the Panchayti Raj institutions to play a vital role in the effective and speedy implimentation of various development and welfare schemes. Dr Andrabi also pointed to the crucial role which could be played by availing the benifits of the Right to Information Act for securing greater efficiancy, transparancy and honesty in the administrative system.
